LandSlides Dead Sea Apocalypse
Three nice beach section, white clean sand. I walk to the last and least crowded one. I’m alone. Before setting up my towel and stuff I take a look at the far away sea and the swimmers. I see landslides (not tsunamis this time). Water was swallowing up the beach section by section but no one seems to notice. I try to shout out a warning to these idiots, but my mouth is numb and my speech was impeded.
I get a download that tells me they are supposed to perish, and that the consciously evolved will survive this. I immediately start walking up the hill and away from the beach which is growing nearer with every landslide. There is no panic, there are no loud noises. The atmosphere is serious and deep. I wonder where Julia is, but I know she will be safe and that I will eventually find her.
I keep walking up the inclining hill planning to reach the high ground in the mountains. There are people everywhere trying to get away but all are calm and quiet. I walk until I reach a huge car park then I stop. I can’t remember if I have a car or how I even go here in the first place. But I’m suddenly holding car keys. I press the button and my beautiful white GEM answers back flashing its lights. The car is not surrounded by other cars, and immediately explodes.
I keep walking up and away from the beach heading to the hotels and facilities on top of the mountain. I reach a high ground with a hotel in the middle and an outdoor cafe. Everything seems usual, yet the landslides have now reached the parking area. Suddenly I see my dad. He must have driven to the Dead Sea in his car and parked it somewhere. When I see him down in the parking lot I see a symbol of safety. I take a wide look and see mama and Nadia with their cameras hanging around them. I wonder was they are dressed too nicely to be taking pictures in the Dead Sea. They must have arrived with my father. They stand a few feet apart looking in different directions calmly and seriously, with their backs to the ever nearing sea line.
Here suddenly I find Julie and I take her with me to find higher places. We suddenly find ourselves in a narrow, small, very old town. In front of us is a three level very narrow tower house and we go up the spiral staircase only to find it occupied by two or three people. They scared me a little. They were crouched down, hiding, scared, dirty and black with dirt. It could be their home. I decide it’s not safe and we leave to find something else when suddenly reality morphed and we are in the backseat of a stranger’s car with people I don’t know. I decide that this also is not the right thing for us to do, and we exit the car as it was slowly moving.
